Kansas State coach Bill Snyder is currently hospitalized in Kansas City and receiving treatment for an undisclosed health issue, according to the Wichita Eagle. The severity of the issue is not known, though the paper reports that Snyder has "responded well to the treatment thus far."

The Eagle also reports that Snyder hopes to be back in time for Kansas State's spring practice.

Snyder, who celebrated his 77th birthday in October and is the oldest coach in FBS, has spent 25 seasons leading Kansas State football. Over his two tenures in charge of the Wildcats, Kansas State has gone 202-105-1, winning two Big 12 titles.

The Wildcats went 9-4 in 2016, finishing the season with a 33-28 win over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl.
