Anderson (back) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Thursday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
The move to the 60-day disabled list opens a spot on the 40-man roster for Seth Frankoff, whose contract was selected in a corresponding move. Fortunately, there is no reported setback accompanying Anderson's move over to the 60-day DL, so his timetable for a return isn't greatly affected. Anderson has been on the shelf since early-May, so a return shortly before the All-Star break remains a possibility.
