Zach Stewart: Released by Orioles

Stewart was released by the Orioles on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old right-hander signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles in early February. Stewart failed to impress management as a non-roster invitee the spring, and he was awful (7.41 ERA and 1.76 WHIP) in three starts for Norfolk. With some MLB service under his belt, Stewart should have a good chance at finding another minor-league deal with a new team.
