Long recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-7 FT) with seven rebounds, one assist and one block across 15 minutes off the bench in a 112-98 loss to the Bucks on Monday.
Long looked like a man with something to prove on the first night of his 10-day contract scoring nearly a point per minute and flashing a lot of energy on the glass. He was called into action with centers Jahlil Okafor and Tiago Splitter sitting out with injury. The rookie out of Louisiana-Lafayette was on the Sixers preseason roster, but was assigned to the Sixers' D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers, prior to the start of the season.
