2016 Outlook: Danny Woodhead
Danny Woodhead

Danny Woodhead is one of the best running backs you will find in PPR leagues and his total stats always look good in standard formats. In 2015, Woodhead had 97 carries for 335 yards and three touchdowns and 81 catches for 756 yards and six touchdowns for the Chargers. His receptions were the best among running backs, and he also finished as the No. 11 running back in standard formats. While he should be started as at least a flex option in PPR leagues (he had at least five catches in nine games), he scored double digits in Fantasy points in a standard league in only five outings since he scored touchdowns in just four games. We'd love to see him spread out his production, but you know what you're getting with Woodhead as the passing-downs complement to Melvin Gordon. He posted similar stats in 2013 (106 carries for 429 yards and two touchdowns and 76 catches for 605 yards and six touchdowns) before getting hurt in 2014. He is worth a mid-round pick in all standard formats and a fourth- or fifth-round selection in PPR.
