Browns' Josh McCown: Placed on injured reserve

The Browns placed McCown (collarbone) on injured reserve Wednesday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

It was announced Tuesday that McCown would be out for the rest of the season with a broken collarbone, and Wednesday's roster move confirms he will not play again this year. Head coach Mike Pettine has yet to announce who -- Austin Davis or Johnny Manziel -- will take over as the Browns' starting quarterback moving forward.
