Evans secured five of seven targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-24 victory over the Falcons.
Jameis Winston's No. 1 target lived up to the hype Sunday, using his height on several occasions, including a highlight-reel 45-yard scoring grab in the third quarter. Evans used his formidable hand strength to secure the tough catch up high and hang on as he went to the ground for the score. After an offseason in which he reportedly lost approximately 20 pounds, Evans looked like he was ready to put a drop-laden 2015 season behind him in the opener.
