Chiefs' Spencer Ware: No update Monday

Coach Andy Reid didn't have an update on Ware's status at Monday's media availability, but did note Sunday that he's dealing with a rib contusion.

Ware missed some time in Sunday's game because of the rib issue, but was eventually able to return to finish with a modest eight carries for 52 yards in the contest. While a contusion generally doesn't cost players much, if any time, it's worth monitoring his progress in practice throughout the week. If Ware ends up missing Sunday's contest against the Ravens, expect Charcandrick West to see a larger portion of the carries, with Knile Davis likely spelling him.
