Cowboys' Nolan Carroll: Signs with Dallas

Carroll signed a three-year, $10 million contract with the Cowboys on Friday, David Helman of DallasCowboys.com reports.

He fills a big hole for Dallas with both Brandon Carr and Mo Claiborne free agents, and Carroll should be a Week 1 starter this season. The 30-year-old had 55 tackles, 11 passes defended and an INT in 16 games for the Eagles last year.
