Jeff Schoettmer: Released from Saints' IR

Schoettmer (undisclosed) was released from the Saints' injured reserve list Monday, Joel A. Erickson of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Schoettmer was amongst the players in the first round of the Saints' final cuts leading up to the start of the regular season and was subsequently stashed on injured reserve afterword. His release allows him to sign elsewhere.
