Clady (knee) has been cleared to play and deemed 'good to go' for the 2016 season by GM Mike Maccagnan, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

Acquired within a day of D'Brickashaw Ferguson's retirement, Clady had missed all of the 2015 season with the Broncos due to an ACL tear. Clady is replacing an ironman in Ferguson, a player who only missed a single snap in the entirety of his career because the Jets had pulled their entire offensive line to execute a trick play. On the other hand, Clady has missed 30 games across the past three years and is due a gaudy $6 million in 2016. Should he maintain his health, he could prove to be an upgrade over Ferguson, but the move to acquire Clady is definitely one of high risk and high reward for the Jets. Nonetheless, being in good health today is a good start for both the Jets and the four-time Pro Bowler.
