Packers' Jordy Nelson: Should be ready to practice soon

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers expects Nelson (knee) to return to practice soon, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Rodgers was asked about Nelson's status Sunday night, and he responded that he hoped Nelson would be able to get back on the field "next week." It's not certain exactly which "week" Rodgers was referring to, but it appears he is optimistic Nelson will be back in action shortly. While Nelson has not taken the field yet, and it's not clear when he will, he still has a chance to be ready to go by Week 1.
