Ian Rapoport of NFL.com relays that Gronkowski's (knee) status is up in the air as Sunday night's game against the Texans approaches.
Per the report, Gronkowski "practiced well (and) is ready, if needed," but given that the tight end's Week 14 availability has yet to be solidified at this stage, he should be viewed as a game-time decision Sunday, a scenario that is tricky from a fantasy perspective, given that the Patriots kick off against the Texans at 8:30 ET. In any case, ideally, those inclined to wait things out on Gronkowski would have his backup, Scott Chandler and/or a tight end from either the Texans, or one of the two Monday night teams (Dolphins, Giants) on hand as a replacement option.
