Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Panthers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Lynch has been sidelined since suffering the injury in Week 3 against the Bears, but he practiced Thursday and Friday, and head coach Pete Carroll said he expects Lynch to "play a lot" Sunday. The matchup isn't ideal, as the Panthers are allowing just 3.8 yards per carry this season and are expecting star linebacker Luke Kuechly back from his concussion, but Lynch is still capable of putting up solid numbers against good defenses.
