Shea McClellin: Signs with Patriots

McClellin has reached an agreement with the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McClellin's 81 tackles left him second on the Bears in 2015 despite the fact that he was limited to 12 games by a concussion and a knee injury. It was by far his most successful NFL season as he seemed much better fit for the inside linebacker position than his previous spots on the outside or at defensive end. The Patriots run a 4-3, so it will be interesting to see how he fits into their defense.
