Wheaton (shoulder) was a full practice participant Wednesday for the first time this season, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Wheaton, who has missed the Steelers' first two regular-season games, expects to play Sunday against the Eagles. "I'm planning to play unless something else comes up," Wheaton said Wednesday. "I'm always taking mental reps, so I'll be good." Once he re-proves his health, Wheaton figures to regain his starting spot across from Antonio Brown, though he could lose some snaps to fellow wideout Sammie Coates, who has logged four catches for 153 yards thus far while helping fill in for Wheaton.
