Wild's Teemu Pulkkinen: Waived by Minnesota

Pulkkinen was waived by the Wild on Friday, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.

Pulkkinen has only managed to tally a single goal over eight games with the Wild this season, and with Erik Haula (lower body) nearing a return to action, Minnesota is no longer in need of the 5-foot-11 winger's services up front. If the Finnish forward goes unclaimed, he'll likely report to AHL Iowa to continue his campaign.
