Here's a look at the postseason race standings on the final weekend of the regular season

Let's get you up to speed on the playoff races now that we're into the final weekend of the the regular season.

All six division races have been decided, so the focus is on the wild-card scrums in each league. Coming into Saturday, four teams were still alive in the AL while it was down to three teams in the NL. However, the Mariners lost to the A's in extra innings and were eliminated from postseason contention.

Here are Saturday's final scores from games with postseason implications:

Now here is an updated look at the standings and current magic numbers for the leader of each race. By way of reminder, a team's magic number is the sum of its wins and losses by the second-place teams needed for the team in question to clinch the division or wild card.
