Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Produces pair of assists
Toffoli notched two assists in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Toffoli has seven points over his last five games, and he's added 19 shots on net in that span. The 33-year-old winger continues to be a key veteran in the Sharks' young offense. He's at 25 points (10 goals, 15 helpers), 83 shots, 24 hits and a minus-2 rating through 37 outings overall.

Sharks' Collin Graf: Riding five-game point streak
Graf scored a goal in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Graf has four goals over his last three outings, and he's earned seven points during a five-game point streak. For the season, the 23-year-old forward is up to 10 goals, 20 points, 41 shots on net, 35 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. His steady all-around play has earned him a top-six role, and it doesn't look like he'll be letting that go any time soon.

Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Lights lamp in loss
Celebrini scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Celebrini enters the holiday break on a six-game point streak (four goals, eight assists). The 19-year-old got the Sharks on the board in the second period Tuesday, but it was far too late to change the result. The center is up to 19 goals, 55 points, 113 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 37 appearances this season. He's six goals and two assists shy of matching his totals from 70 outings last year, and it looks like the sky's the limit for this talented pivot.

Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Poor showing in relief
Nedeljkovic stopped seven of 10 shots in relief of Yaroslav Askarov in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Askarov was shelled for four goals on 16 shots in less than 15 minutes. Nedeljkovic entered the game late in the first period and still managed to give up a goal in each frame despite the Golden Knights backing off their high pace. Nedeljkovic won't wear the loss this time, but this was a poor outing and the fifth time in his last seven games he's allowed at least three goals. He's at a 5-7-2 record with a 3.06 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 17 appearances this season. With Askarov also struggling lately, the Sharks may split the crease until one goalie or the other gets back on track.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Pulled in first period
Askarov allowed four goals on 16 shots in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Askarov lasted just 14:57, leaving after digging the Sharks a 4-0 hole. Alex Nedeljkovic did no better in relief, allowing three goals on 10 shots even with the Golden Knights letting up significantly in pressure. Askarov has lost his last two outings, and he's given up at least three goals in seven straight contests, a major downturn after his strong November. Overall, he's 12-10-1 with a 3.37 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 23 starts. The holiday break may serve him well to reset, but if Askarov's struggles persist, Nedeljkovic could begin to pull closer to an even split of starts.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Set to face Vegas
Askarov is expected to defend the road net against Vegas on Tuesday after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Askarov has allowed three goals or more in each of his last six appearances, posting a 3-3-0 record over that span. He has gone 12-9-1 this season with a 3.22 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 22 outings. Vegas sits 18th in the league with 3.00 goals per game this year.

Sharks' Will Smith: Deemed week-to-week
Smith (upper body) is week-to-week, per Max Miller of NHL.com on Monday.
Smith has already missed the last three games and remains on injured reserve. The Sharks will evaluate him further after the calendar flips to 2026. Smith has generated 12 goals, 29 points and 80 shots on net across 33 outings this campaign. With Smith and Philipp Kurashev (upper body) unavailable, Collin Graf and Igor Chernyshov have been seeing time on San Jose's top line.

Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Unavailable for Tuesday's game
Liljegren (upper body) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Golden Knights, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Liljegren sustained an injury during Saturday's morning skate, and he'll be unavailable for a second consecutive game heading into the holiday break. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return when the Sharks resume play against the Canucks on Saturday.

Sharks' Jimmy Huntington: Logs three points for Barracuda
Huntington scored a goal and added two assists in AHL San Jose's 6-3 win over Ontario on Sunday.
Huntington has seven points over his last six outings. The 27-year-old forward is too old for prospect status, but he's put up 16 points over 27 outings in the AHL this year, which could be turning some heads. Huntington would likely see fourth-line usage if he gets called up to the Sharks -- he has yet to make his NHL debut.

Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Strikes on power play in loss
Gaudette scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.
Gaudette ended a seven-game goal drought with his second-period tally. He had two assists in that span, and he also missed a game due to a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old has settled in as a bottom-six forward who can help on the power play. He's produced eight goals, four assists, three power-play points, 44 shots on net, 30 hits, 14 PIM and a minus-8 rating across 31 appearances this season.

Sharks' Collin Graf: Scores again Saturday
Graf scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.
Graf continues to excel -- he's earned six goals and three assists over his last eight games. His tally put the Sharks ahead 2-1 in the third period, but the Kraken responded with a pair of goals within the next four minutes. Graf is up to nine goals, 19 points, 40 shots on net, 34 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 35 appearances. He's here to stay in the NHL, and as long as he's getting top-six minutes, he has the tools to help fantasy managers.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Loses to Kraken
Askarov stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Askarov wasn't able to get his winning streak to three games. A pair of Seattle goals 2:32 apart in the third period did Askarov in for this contest, and he's now allowed at least three goals in six straight outings. He's at a 12-9-1 record with a 3.22 GAA and an .902 save percentage. The Sharks have taken a step forward this year, but there will still be some bumps along the way, though Askarov has shown plenty of potential. The Sharks visit the Golden Knights on Tuesday.

Sharks' Egor Afanasyev: Tallies twice in AHL win
Afanasyev scored twice in AHL San Jose's 4-3 win over Ontario on Saturday.
Afanasyev hasn't done much in the AHL this season, but he's potted three goals over his last three games. He's at eight points in 20 outings overall, far off the pace that saw him produce 54 points in 56 regular-season outings a year ago. With the Sharks having plenty of prospects in the pipeline, Afanasyev isn't separating himself from the pack in the AHL.

Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Won't play Saturday
Liljegren (upper body) won't play against Seattle on Saturday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Liljegren will miss at least one game after getting hurt during Saturday's morning skate. He has contributed four assists, 18 shots on goal, 63 blocked shots and 25 hits in 28 appearances this season. With Liljegren unavailable, Vincent Iorio will be in the lineup against the Kraken on Saturday.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Defending crease Saturday
Askarov will protect the home net against Seattle on Saturday, according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.
Askarov has won his last two outings while allowing eight goals on 73 shots. He has a 12-8-1 record with a 3.23 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 21 appearances this season. Seattle sits 31st in the league with 2.47 goals per game this year.

Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Supplies two helpers
Celebrini notched two assists and eight shots on goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars.
Celebrini has three goals and six helpers over his last three outings. The 19-year-old had a hand in both of Collin Graf's goals in this contest. For the season, Celebrini is riding high with 18 goals, 35 assists, 110 shots on net and a plus-13 rating over 35 appearances, production that puts him among the NHL's top scorers. He should be in fantasy lineups whenever the Sharks are on the schedule.
