American beach volleyball legend Kerri Walsh Jennings is no longer part of a losing streak.

Walsh Jennings and her partner April Ross bounced back from a shocking semifinals loss on Tuesday with a win in the bronze medal match Wednesday night.

The Americans didn't have an easy time against Brazil's Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes, having to win in comeback fashion after dropping the opening set of the match.

Walsh Jennings, who was 26-0 in her Olympic beach volleyball career before the upset, sealed the win with a pair of blocks for the final two points to win 17-21, 21-17, 15-9.

Whenever an athlete who's going for their fourth consecutive gold medal -- like Walsh Jennings was -- loses prematurely, it would be logical for them to put in cruise control the rest of the way but instead, Walsh Jennings and Ross salvaged their time in Rio and claimed the bronze for Team USA.

Despite the loss, Brazil still brought home a women's beach volleyball medal with Agatha Bednarczuk and Barbara Seixas, who beat Walsh Jennings and Ross in the semis, earning silver after falling to Germany in the gold-medal match.
