Ginny Thrasher took home gold in 10-meter air rifle shooting. It is the first medal of the year as the U.S. looks to top its total from 2012 where they took home 43 gold medals and 102 overall. The U.S. will have more opportunities on Saturday night when the swimmers take center stage.
