Oregon State vs. Colorado score: Beavers complete improbable run to claim Pac-12 title, bid in NCAA Tournament
Oregon State was picked to finish last in the preseason poll and worked its way to an automatic berth in March Madness

We've got ourselves a bid-stealer out west as Oregon State, a No. 5 seed, pulled off the Pac-12 upset after dark over No. 3 seed Colorado to secure the league's NCAA Tournament automatic bid on Saturday night.
It's an historic accomplishment for the Beavers as they had never won the Pac-12 Tournament. But it's also historic in that no team in Pac-12 history picked to finish last in the preseason -- as they were -- has advanced all the way to the title game, much less won the whole thing.
Leading the way for the Beavers in the win was a surprise off-the-bench contributor in Maurice Calloo. Calloo had a team-high 15 points -- three shy of a a career-high. Jarod Lucas and Gianni Hunt added 14 and 10 points, respectively.
For the Pac-12, it's fantastic news because Colorado was a No. 6 seed in Jerry Palm's bracket entering the night, so it was comfortably in the field of 68. It's bad news, however, for bubble teams. Since the Beavers weren't tracking towards an at-large bid but secured the auto bid from the Pac-12, it means some team on the bubble might've just seen its tourney hopes popped.
