What to Know

The Clemson Tigers will be returning home after a two-game road trip. The Tigers and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will face off in an ACC battle at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Littlejohn Coliseum. Wake Forest will be strutting in after a win while Clemson will be stumbling in from a loss.

Clemson came up short against the Louisville Cardinals this past Saturday, falling 70-61. Forward Ian Schieffelin wasn't much of a difference maker for Clemson; Schieffelin picked up four fouls and turned the ball over four times en route to a 3-for-10, 7-point finish.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest didn't have too much breathing room in their contest with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this past Saturday, but they still walked away with a 79-74 victory. The Demon Deacons' forward Jake LaRavia did his thing and had 20 points and five assists in addition to nine boards.

The Tigers are expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Boston College Eagles Jan. 15 easily too and instead slipped up with a 70-68. In other words, don't count Wake Forest out just yet.
