The St. Bonaventure Bonnies are 8-1 against the George Mason Patriots since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Wednesday. The Bonnies are on the road again Wednesday and play against GMU at 7 p.m. ET Jan. 26 at EagleBank Arena. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

St. Bonaventure netted a 64-56 win over the Duquesne Dukes last week. St. Bonaventure's forward Osun Osunniyi looked sharp as he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds along with six blocks. Osunniyi has also now had at least three blocks in his past five games. Osunniyi's points were the most he has had all year.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, GMU beat the Saint Joseph's Hawks 77-71 on Monday. Forward Josh Oduro took over for GMU, finishing with 31 points (a whopping 40% of their total) in addition to five boards.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Bonnies are expected to win a tight contest. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last Friday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

St. Bonaventure is now 11-4 while the Patriots sit at 9-7. St. Bonaventure is 7-3 after wins this season, GMU 6-2.
