What to Know

The Temple Owls have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. Temple and the UCF Knights will face off in an American Athletic battle at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Addition Financial Arena. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Owls were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Sunday as they fell 66-61 to the Houston Cougars. Guard Damian Dunn (14 points) and forward Nick Jourdain (12 points) were the top scorers for Temple.

Meanwhile, the game between UCF and the SMU Mustangs on Sunday was not particularly close, with UCF falling 72-60. One thing holding UCF back was the mediocre play of guard Darius Perry, who did not have his best game: he finished with 13 points on 4-for-17 shooting in his 33 minutes on the court.
