Illinois has picked up Drake transfer Rayvonte Rice, sources told CBSSports.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Rice is a Champaign native who averaged 16.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in the Missouri Valley last season.
Rice chose Illinois over Xavier -- and has two years remaining with new Illini coach John Groce.
