Illinois State will interview Vanderbilt assistant Dan Muller and Gonzaga assistant Ray Giacoletti on Thursday, industry sources told CBSSports.

Sources also told CBSSports that Redbirds assistant Rob Judson and Michigan State assistant Dwayne Stephens are also involved.

Muller played at Illinois State from 1995-98 and went to the NCAA tournament the last two years as a player. He has been on the staff at Vanderbilt for the past 12 seasons -- and helped recruit Festus Ezeli, Jeffery Taylor and John Jenkins to the school.

Giacoletti has been a head coach at two different stops: Eastern Washington, where he coached Rodney Stuckey, and also for three years following Rick Majerus at Utah. Giacoletti took Eastern Washington to the NCAA tournament in 2004 and also led the Utes to the Sweet 16 his first season in 2005.

Judson has been on the Illinois State staff with Tim Jankovich -- who left this past week to be the coach-in-waiting with Larry Brown at SMU. Judson was the head coach at Northern Illinois for six years, where he compiled a 74-101 mark.

Stephens has been on Tom Izzo's staff for nearly a decade and also played for the Spartans in the early 1990s.
