March Madness 2022 odds: Gonzaga the betting favorite again, but plenty of value with blue bloods
Kentucky, Kansas and Duke all have enticing odds if you're willing to shoot your shot

If you're betting futures on March Madness and feeling a bit of déjà vu, just know that is entirely understandable. Gonzaga is the betting favorite to bring home the national championship, just like last year, with odds at +350 according to Caesars Sportsbook. And, just like last year, it enters the NCAA Tournament as the top overall seed in the West Region. The Zags head to the NCAAs -- you guessed it, just like last year -- with a real shot at finally summiting the sport after national runner-up finishes in two of the last three NCAA Tournaments.
Competition is fierce in the eyes of oddsmakers, however, as Arizona (31-3) lurks with the next-best odds at +600, followed by Kentucky (26-7) at +800, Kansas (28-6) at +900 and reigning national champion Baylor (26-6) at +1200. Auburn and Duke aren't far behind at +1400.
Realistically, there are about a dozen or so teams with a chance to take home the trophy. And while the odds clearly favor the top dogs -- or, in this case, Bulldogs -- there's plenty of incentive to shoot your shot with other long-odds contenders. Texas Tech at +2200 is juicy if it can hold serve in the loaded West Region. Baylor getting only the fifth-best odds -- worst among all No. 1 seeds -- is, too. Then there's upside plays like Duke (+1400) and Purdue (+1800) that have, at times, looked like a Final Four team.
If you're looking to throw down some cheddar, odds for the top teams with +2000 odds or better are below. The full odds list from Caesars Sportsbook can be found right here.
