What to Know

The La Salle Explorers haven't won a matchup against the Massachusetts Minutemen since Jan. 30 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought Saturday. The Explorers will hit the road for the third straight game as they head to William D. Mullins Center at noon ET. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

La Salle found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 90-64 punch to the gut against the Saint Louis Billikens on Wednesday. The losing side was boosted by forward Clifton Moore, who had 20 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Moore has also now had at least three blocks in his past four games.

Meanwhile, UMass ended up a good deal behind the St. Bonaventure Bonnies when they played on Wednesday, losing 83-71. Guard T.J. Weeks Jr. put forth a good effort for the losing side as he shot 5-for-9 from downtown and finished with 19 points and six boards.

The Explorers are expected to lose this next one by 6. Now might not be the best time to take La Salle against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past three consecutive games.
