What to Know

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Virginia Cavaliers are set to clash at 7 p.m. ET March 22 at John Paul Jones Arena in the third round of the NIT. These two teams are tiptoeing into their game after sneaking past their previous opponents.

On Sunday, the Bonnies narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Oklahoma Sooners 70-68. St. Bonaventure got double-digit scores from five players: guard Jaren Holmes (23), forward Osun Osunniyi (14), guard Jalen Adaway (11), guard Kyle Lofton (10), and guard Dominick Welch (10).

Speaking of close games: the Cavaliers earned some more postseason success in their matchup on Sunday. They skirted past the North Texas Mean Green 71-69. Virginia's guard Reece Beekman was one of the most active players for the team, picking up 13 points and nine assists in addition to seven rebounds. This also makes it three games in a row in which Beekman has had at least three steals.
