I haven't taken a physics class in some time, but there were a couple of things I learned while there that have stuck with me since. First, every action will have an equal and opposite reaction. That is Newton's Third Law. What a lot of people don't remember is Newton's First Law.

If there is ever a job opening for a football coach, or even an opening hinted at, Jon Gruden will be connected to that opening.

It's amazing that Isaac Newton was able to figure that out in the 17th century, but he was just really smart I guess. Time and time again history has proven Newton to be correct, with the latest example coming via an old University of Dayton football media guide. That's where Jon Gruden played his college football, and it seems Gruden had one major career goal while in school, and it wasn't to play in the NFL.

"After graduation he would like to become the head coach of the University of Michigan."

Now, Brady Hoke currently has that job, but there's been plenty of speculation on whether or not we'll be able to say that for much longer. Should Michigan decide to go in another direction at any point, well, we already know one man who will be connected to the job.
