Bills' DJ Dale: Exits with back injury
Dale suffered a back injury and was forced to exit the Bills' 27-15 preseason loss to the Steelers early, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
Dale entered the week dealing with both rib and back contusions, and it's possible he aggravated one or both of those injuries. The defensive tackle signed with Buffalo this offseason as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama and he's currently battling for a final roster spot.

Bills' DJ Dale: Undergoes X-rays
Dale suffered rib and back contusions during Saturday's preseason win over the Colts and underwent X-rays.
Dale suffered the injuries while sacking Sam Ehlinger in the second half and never returned, despite initially being labeled questionable to return. The X-ray results should provide clarity on the severity of the issue, but any extended absence will make it difficult for the undrafted rookie out of Alabama to secure a Week 1 roster spot.
