Raiders' Ovie Oghoufo: Gets fresh opportunity in Vegas
The Raiders signed Oghoufo (hamstring) to a reserve/futures contract Tuesday.
The Giants waived Oghoufo from injured reserve with a hamstring issue prior to the start of the regular season, but he's now getting another chance with a different team as the end of the league year draws near. Regular contributor K'Lavon Chaisson is set to enter free agency in 2025, so Las Vegas might have some things to figure out on the edge before the next campaign.

Ovie Oghoufo: Waived with injury settlement
The Giants removed Oghoufo (hamstring) from injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The injury settlement allows Oghoufo to sign with another team once he's fully recovered from his hamstring injury.

Giants' Ovie Oghoufo: Reverts to IR with New York
Oghoufo (hamstring) reverted to injured reserve with the Giants on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Oghoufo was waived with an injury designation by New York on Tuesday and went unclaimed, ultimately ending up on IR a day later. He suffered a hamstring injury in the team's preseason finale and he's now set to miss the entirety of the 2024 season.

Giants' Ovie Oghoufo: Won't return Saturday
Ofhoufo has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's preseason game against the Jets due to a hamstring injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Oghoufo slowly left the field after sustaining the hamstring injury during punt coverage, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record. Oghoufo did not record a tackle before exiting Saturday's game.
