Braves' Adam McCreery: Sent down to Gwinnett

McCreery was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

McCreery made his big-league debut during Thursday's loss to the Nationals, allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out a pair in one inning of relief. He will be a candidate to return to Atlanta when the club requires a fresh arm in the bullpen.
