Withrow (elbow) will resume throwing Tuesday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Withrow received a clean bill of health after undergoing an MRI on his elbow Saturday, so he'll rest for a couple more days before working his way back from the DL. The right-hander has already undergone Tommy John surgery in his career, but with the MRI showing no ligament or structural damage to his elbow, it looks like he's avoided a major setback. The 27-year-old, who owns a 3.31 ERA over 40 appearances this season, is expected to return to the Braves by the end of August.
