Cubs' Ben DeLuzio: Gets NRI deal

DeLuzio signed a minor-league contract with the Cubs on Tuesday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

DeLuzio had a brief turn in the majors in 2022 with the Cardinals, going 3-for-20 at the plate. He's known for his speed and center-field defense, skills which he'll try to utilize as he competes for a reserve role.
