Paredes has elected free agency.

Paredes was outrighted off the Phillies' roster last week. He hit .222/.253/.367 with five home runs in 158 at-bats between the Blue Jays and the Phillies this past season. He'll likely have to settle for a minor league contract with a spring training invitation this offseason.
