Orioles' Xavier Avery: Signs minor league deal with Baltimore

Avery signed a minor league deal with the Orioles on Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

The 25-year-old spent last season at Triple-A between three different organizations, and he's yet to find a permanent home since leaving the Orioles in 2013. He'll return to the organization as a non-roster invitee with the likelihood that he returns to the Triple-A level to begin the 2016 campaign.
