Almonte went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in a 6-3 loss Sunday in Toronto.

Almonte doubled and scored in the second inning and reached on an error and stole a base in the ninth. It was his first stolen base in the majors after swiping six bags in Triple-A this year. The 33-year-old has been productive for the Red Sox since being promoted Sept. 7, compiling a .321/.345/.500 slash line with a home run in 29 plate appearances.
