Reds' Kyle Waldrop: Optioned to Triple-A

Waldrop was optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.

With Homer Bailey's activation from the 60-day disabled list Thursday, the Reds needed to clear a spot on the active roster. Cincinnati ended up sending Waldrop back down to Louisville to get more regular playing time. Waldrop, who was called up on July 17, only logged four at-bats during his recent stint with the big league club.
