Ricky Romero: Released by Giants

Romero was released from the Giants' Triple-A Sacramento affiliate Saturday.

Romero signed a minor-league pact with the Giants in November 2016 and began the 2017 season with Sacramento, where the he posted a 6.75 ERA over 14.2 innings. The 32-year-old will look to hopefully catch on with another squad this season.
