Rockies' Jorge Alfaro: Outrighted to Triple-A

Colorado outrighted Alfaro to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Alfaro passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment by the Rockies last Friday. He can elect to become a free agent, but it seems there has been no decision on that front just yet. The 30-year-old catcher and corner outfielder slashed .161/.188/.387 in his 32 plate appearances with Colorado.
