Twins' Lewis Thorpe: Lands on IL

Thorpe was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left shoulder strain, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Thorpe will miss at least one start and presumably more after exiting Wednesday's game against Cleveland. Entering his start, the lefty had posted a 3.86 ERA and 5:4 K:BB in 14 innings with the Twins this season. The team has yet to announce a corresponding move.
