Twins' Lewis Thorpe: Outrighted to Triple-A

Thorpe was attempting to secure a spot in Minnesota's Opening Day bullpen, but he didn't end up making the cut. The move makes room on the Opening Day roster for Chris Archer, who signed a one-year deal Monday. Thorpe was limited to 38 innings between the majors and minors last season due to shoulder issues, but the move to the bullpen could help with his availability.
