Nicholas Singleton 2005 RB
Nicholas Singleton: Healthy ahead of NFL Draft
7h agoSingleton (foot) has been medically cleared and has resumed running, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Singleton suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot while attending the Senior Bowl in late January, but he is now back to full health ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. The running back figures to be a mid-round selection in the three-day event beginning next Thursday in Pittsburgh. Singleton finished off a record-setting four-year career at Penn State in 2025, racking up 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 carries while also reeling in 24 of 34 targets for 219 yards and a score over 12 contests in his final campaign.

Paris Johnson Jr. ARI OT
Cardinals' Paris Johnson: Contract option picked up
12h agoThe Cardinals have picked up their fifth-year option on Johnson's contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Per the report, the option calls for just over $19 million for the 2027 season, though it's possible that the Cardinals and the offensive tackle could reach an agreement on an extension before then. The No. 6 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft finished up the 2025 regular season on IR due to a knee issue, but has since had ample time to recover, which puts Johnson on track to be healthy the next time Arizona takes the field.

De'Von Achane MIA RB
Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Shows up to voluntary wrkouts
13h agoAchane was spotted at the Dolphins' training facility Thursday for the first time since the start of the team's voluntary offseason program, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Achane is in the midst of negotiations toward a long-term extension. The Dolphins have shut down trade rumors, and it sounds like Achane is on board for their rebuilding project as long as he's happy with his compensation. Given his age (24) and monstrous production, Achane probably hopes to top Saquon Barkley's RB-leading totals for average annual value ($20.6 million) and fully guaranteed money ($36 million). For now, Achane will focus on learning a new playbook under new head coach Jeff Hafley and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. On-field work doesn't start until mid-to-late May, with mandatory minicamp then scheduled for June 2-4.

Cam Ward TEN QB
Titans' Cam Ward: May throw passes at minicamp
17h agoTitans GM Mike Borgonzi said Thursday that Ward (shoulder) is on track to throw passes at voluntary minicamp next week, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Borgonzi didn't mention if Ward has resumed throwing in individual workouts. The young quarterback suffered an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder during a Week 18 loss at Jacksonville, making an early exit from the final game of a brutal rookie season. Ward started all 17 games, but threw for just 3,169 yards and 15 touchdowns in an undermanned offense with subpar coaching. Ward's setup for 2026 looks at least somewhat better, with Brian Daboll taking over the Tennessee offense (under new HC Robert Saleh) and bringing WR Wan'Dale Robinson with him from the Giants. Ward may have limitations during the offseason program, but he has plenty of time to ramp up before the start of training camp in late July.

Matthew Golden GB WR
Packers' Matthew Golden: Primed for larger role
17h agoGolden has a clear path to move up Green Bay's depth chart in the absence of Romeo Doubs (Patriots) and Dontayvion Wicks (Eagles), ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
Green Bay's offseason moves leave Golden, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed without serious competition for the top three spots at wide receiver, pending results of the 2026 NFL Draft. Golden went 23rd overall in last year's draft, yet didn't score his first NFL touchdown until the playoffs. He had four straight games with at least three catches and 37 yards in Weeks 3-7, before averaging just 14.0 yards on 2.6 targets over his final eight appearances of the regular season (shoulder and wrist injuries contributed to the slump). Golden then put up 4-84-1 in a playoff loss at Chicago, restoring some hope for a Year 2 breakout. If nothing else, the Packers seem to be planning a major increase in playing time.

Giants' Dexter Lawrence: Contract talks stall
2d agoLawrence and the Giants have reportedly reached an impasse on talks regarding a new contract extension for the defensive tackle, per ESPN.com.
The report notes that Lawrence previously requested a trade and hasn't been present for the start of the team's initial offseason workout program. Meanwhile, as the NFL Draft approaches, the Giants are said to have engaged with other teams about a potential trade for the 2019 first rounder, who recorded 31 tackles in 17 regular-season games in 2025. That said, it's still possible the two sides could find enough common ground for Lawrence to stick around in 2026, on the heels of conversations with Lawrence's agent that GM Joe Schoen labeled "productive."

Brandon Allen NYG QB
Giants' Brandon Allen: Gets chance with Big Blue
4d agoAllen signed a contract with the Giants on Monday.
Allen spent last season with the Titans and saw action in only one contest, a Week 18 loss to the Jaguars in which he completed 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. Now, he'll reunite with New York's quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Brian Callahan while providing the team depth behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston.
-
C.J. Stroud HOU QB
Texans' C.J. Stroud: Fifth-year option picked up
9d agoThe Texans have exercised the fifth-year option of Stroud's rookie contract Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Stroud thus remains under contract through 2027, though his fifth-year option being picked up doesn't necessarily preclude Houston from inking the 24-year-old quarterback to an extension. Trade rumors surrounded Stroud early in the offseason, but GM Nick Caserio doubled down on the team's long-term commitments to the 2023 first-round pick during the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine and the league's annual owners meetings. Across 14 regular-season appearances in 2025, Stroud threw for 3,041 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, the lowest TD and yardage totals of his career to date. The case for Stroud to rebound for fantasy purposes next year relies on projecting wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel to take a step forward in Year 2 alongside No. 1 WR Nico Collins, and potentially also for Tank Dell (knee) to resume producing after missing all of 2025. The Texans also have Xavier Hutchinson, Justin Watson and TE Dalton Schultz (calf) rounding out the receiving corps.
-
Kirk Cousins ATL QB
Raiders' Kirk Cousins: Reaches deal with Las Vegas
15d agoCousins agreed Thursday with the Raiders on a contract, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.
After being cut by the Falcons earlier in the offseason, Cousins had drawn interest from several teams who were keen on bringing him aboard as a backup. He ultimately opted to head to Las Vegas, where he'll at least temporarily slot in atop the depth chart. The Raiders are widely expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft later this month, but Cousins -- who is in line to earn $20 million fully guaranteed for playing the 2026 season -- per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, could still emerge as the Week 1 starter if Las Vegas isn't eager to rush Mendoza into action right away to begin his NFL career. During his final season in Atlanta, Cousins made 10 appearances (eight starts) and completed 61.7 percent of his passes for 6.4 yards per attempt and a 10:5 TD:INT.
-
Hendon Hooker TEN QB
Titans' Hendon Hooker: Headed to Tennessee
16d agoHooker is in line to sign with the Titans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Hooker, who last saw regular-season snaps with the Lions in 2024, joins a crowded Titans QB room that currently also includes Cam Ward, Mitchell Trubisky and Will Levis. The 2023 third-rounder adds a dual-threat presence to the group, and his addition could foreshadow the team moving on from Levis down the road.

Shedeur Sanders CLE QB
Browns' Shedeur Sanders: Set to compete for starting job
16d agoCoach Todd Monken noted Tuesday that QB reps during the Browns' offseason workout program competition won't necessarily be evenly divided between Sanders, Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN reports.
On that subject, Monken said, "I wouldn't say they're going to be evenly dispersed, but we'll definitely disperse them to give ourselves a chance to at least evaluate who we have on the roster, whoever that might be as we go through the offseason." When asked how he'll decide who takes the first starting reps once the team's on-field work commences, Monken indicated that it would be based on "what we've seen in the past and where the year ended last year." With that in mind, Zac Jackson of The Athletic suggests that Sanders seems most likely to work as the No. 1 QB in early spring workouts, but at this stage nothing is set in stone, with Watson -- who missed last season due to an Achilles' injury -- now healthy, per Oyefusi, and thus expected to compete with Sanders and Gabriel for the starting job.

Kimani Vidal LAC RB
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Officially back with Bolts
2d agoVidal signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Chargers on Tuesday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Los Angeles tendered the 2024 sixth-round pick as an ERFA in early March. The Chargers' offseason has seen Najee Harris (Achilles) depart in free agency, though the addition of Keaton Mitchell from Baltimore represents a new option in the backfield and potential competition for Vidal's grip on the No. 2 role behind Omarion Hampton. That said, Vidal has to be considered the favorite for the job after he broke out for 643 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 155 carries across 13 regular-season appearances in 2025, even if Mitchell ultimately sees more pass-catching reps.
-
Bijan Robinson ATL RB
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Fifth-year option exercised
6d agoThe Falcons picked up the fifth-year option of Robinson's rookie contract Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The transaction keeps Robinson under contract through 2027 and provides Atlanta more time to negotiate a potential long-term extension, so it's little surprise to see the team pick up the 2023 first-round pick's fifth-year option. Robinson has compiled back-to-back years with over 1,400 rushing yards, and in 2025 he added a 79-829-4 receiving line (104 targets) while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games. The star running back also had seven rushing scores and a career-high 5.1 YPC mark in 2025. Even given the uncertainty surrounding Atlanta's offense -- there's a QB battle between Michael Penix (knee) and Tua Tagovailoa looming this offseason, and the surprise retirement of RT Kaleb McGary (leg) has prompted the team to sign Jawaan Taylor -- Robinson is firmly in the mix for consideration as not only the top RB off the board in 2026 fantasy drafts, but as the No.1 overall selection.

J.K. Dobbins DEN RB
Broncos' J.K. Dobbins: Prioritized in free agency
8d agoBroncos coach Sean Payton said last week that Dobbins was "a priority ahead of all others" this offseason, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Payton went on to describe Dobbins as a "compound multiplier" who "brings 10 others along with him in positive light." The glowing comments came three weeks after Denver re-signed Dobbins to a two-year, $16 million contract. It's essentially a one-year deal, with $8 million guaranteed this year and then a team option for around $8 million in 2027. Broncos GM George Paton said last week that Dobbins has made a full recovery from his season-ending foot injury, noting that the RB might've even played in the Super Bowl if Denver had made it, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports. Dobbins and RJ Harvey figure to get most of the first-team backfield reps this spring, with Dobbins the current favorite to start Week 1.
-
James Conner ARI RB
Cardinals' James Conner: Present for offseason program
9d agoConner (foot) participated at the start of the Cardinals' offseason program Tuesday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
Conner's 2025 campaign was cut short in Week 3 due to a foot injury that required surgery. He then worked out a restructured contract with the Cardinals in early March that left him with $2.1 million guaranteed in 2026. The team added Tyler Allgeier to its backfield this offseason on a two-year contract with $8 million in guarantees, while 2024 third-round pick Trey Benson (knee) also remains on the roster. Conner has been Arizona's lead runner since 2021 when healthy, but because he's entering his age-31 season, he may cede more of the reps to Allgeier under new coach Mike LaFleur.

A.J. Brown PHI WR
Eagles' A.J. Brown: GM Roseman won't reveal much
2d agoEagles GM Howie Roseman avoided questions about Brown's future while talking with reporters Tuesday, according to Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Roseman initially declined to comment on Brown when answering a two-part question, instead focusing on recent trade acquisition Dontayvion Wicks. When a different reporter asked about Brown again, Roseman responded, "What do you think the odds of me answering this question any different than I answered it anywhere else?" Roseman then repeated his line from earlier this offseason, saying "A.J. Brown's an Eagle." The response will do nothing to quiet trade rumors, with numerous reports suggesting the Eagles had serious talks with the Rams and Patriots in March. From a cap standpoint, it becomes much easier for the Eagles to move on from Brown after June 1, which means this could drag out for a while even if the team has already made an internal decision of sorts.
-
Dontayvion Wicks GB WR
Eagles' Dontayvion Wicks: Dealt to Philadelphia
6d agoThe Eagles agreed to terms Friday on a trade to acquire Wicks (concussion) from Green Bay in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Wicks will reportedly ink a new one-year, $12.5 million contract with Philadelphia, providing him a substantial pay raise. The soon-to-be 25-year-old wideout doesn't necessarily face an easier path to playing time with his new team, though that could change if rumors surrounding A.J. Brown as a potential trade candidate do ultimately materialize this offseason. Per the current state of the Eagles' roster, all of Brown, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore and TE Dallas Goedert represent target competition for Wicks, who tallied just a 30-332-2 line across 14 regular-season appearances as a depth option for the Packers in 2025. Wicks appears to have gained full clearance from the concussion that forced him to miss the end of the 2025 campaign.
-
Travis Hunter JAC WR
Jaguars' Travis Hunter: To be limited in voluntary workouts
7d agoGM James Gladstone noted Thursday that Hunter will "be, for all intents and purposes, a limited participant through the offseason program with eyes on (a) return to play at full tick in training camp," NFL.com reports.
Coach Liam Coen indicated at the end of March that Hunter was "very well ahead" of schedule in his recovery from surgery (which took place last November) to address a torn LCL in his right knee, per Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union. At the time, Coen added that he couldn't "say for certain" whether Hunter would take part in the Jaguars offseason program, but it appears as though the CB/WR will participate in some capacity as he works toward being at or near full-go for training camp. According to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com, once the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft resumes practicing, he'll take reps on both sides of the ball. However, while Hunter's positional versatility is valuable to the Jaguars, it remains to be seen what level of playing time the Colorado product (who caught 28 passes in seven regular-season games as a rookie) will see on offense in 2026, while working in a wide receiver corps that also includes Brian Thomas, Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington.
-
David Sills TB WR
Buccaneers' David Sills: Inks with Tampa Bay
10d agoThe Buccaneers signed Sills on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Sills logged career-best numbers during his only season with the Falcons in 2025, securing 18 of 36 targets for 191 yards and two touchdowns across 17 regular-season appearances. The 6-foot-3, 211-pound wideout will now work to secure a role on Tampa Bay's crowded wide receiver depth chart.
-
Malik Nabers NYG WR
Giants' Malik Nabers: Present for voluntary workouts
10d agoNabers (knee) is present for the Giants' first day of voluntary workouts Tuesday.
Nabers is progressing from ACL and meniscus tears that he suffered to his right knee in Week 4 of last season, and GM Joe Schoen said in late March that he's "hopeful" the star wide receiver will be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 campaign, per Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site. While it remains to be seen when Nabers will be ready to resume on-field drills, it's encouraging to see him in house and building familiarity with new head coach John Harbaugh's offense.
-
Ja'Tavion Sanders CAR TE
Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Rehab going well
3d agoPanthers GM Dan Morgan said Tuesday that Sanders (fibula) has resumed running and making cuts in his rehab and could be ready for the start of OTAs, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Sanders is recovering from surgery to address a broken right fibula suffered in late December. Across 13 regular-season appearances last year, the 2024 fourth-round pick secured 29 of 34 targets for 190 yards and one touchdown. Unless Carolina makes significant additions to the tight end position in the 2026 NFL Draft, Sanders and Tommy Tremble will again operate as the team's top options at the position.
-
Mark Andrews BAL TE
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Primed for larger role in 2026?
8d agoAndrews said Wednesday that he expects "a lot of opportunities in this offense" after fellow tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar left the Ravens this offseason, NFL.com reports.
More help is probably on the way, but so far Baltimore has only signed blocking specialist Durham Smythe to help replace Likely (Giants) and Kolar (Chargers) at tight end. The Ravens also lost long-time fullback Patrick Ricard, who followed Likely and coach John Harbaugh to New York. Andrews, meanwhile, is entering the first season of the three-year extension he signed in December, with his 2026 compensation fully guaranteed and his 2027 salary partially guaranteed ($5 million out of $9 million). The Ravens clearly have him ticketed for a key role under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, but that doesn't mean Andrews will approach his peak volume (or production). He'll turn 31 in September, coming off back-to-back seasons with less than 4.5 targets and 40 yards per game. Even the TD production slipped in 2025, with Andrews posting a 48-422-5 receiving line (compared to 55-673-11 in 2024) while finishing with career-low marks for yards per catch (8.8) and yards per target (6.0).
-
Ian Thomas LV TE
Raiders' Ian Thomas: Re-ups with Raiders
10d agoLas Vegas re-signed Thomas to a one-year contract Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Thomas will run it back with the Raiders after having secured all 13 of his targets for 114 yards across 15 regular-season appearances with the team in 2025. He projects for a blocking role behind Brock Bowers (knee) and Michael Mayer again next season.
-
Kyle Pitts ATL TE
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Signs tag, present for workouts
10d agoPitts is present for the start of voluntary workouts Tuesday and is signing his franchise tag with the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Pitts and Atlanta will still have until mid-July to negotiate a long-term deal, but without one the 2021 first-round pick will have a $15.05 million salary for 2026. The 25-year-old tight end finished 2025 with an 88-928-5 line on 118 targets while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games. Pitts' major task this offseason will be to establish a rapport with new quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who will compete with Michael Penix (knee) for the starting job under center.
-
Brenden Bates CLE TE
Browns' Brenden Bates: Signs ERFA tender
10d agoBates signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Cleveland on Monday.
Bates began last season with Houston before the Browns signed him off waivers in late October. The tight end out of Kentucky played in six contests with Cleveland, catching two of three targets for 25 yards. Bates should compete for a depth role next season, but while long-time starter David Njoku was released in March, Harold Fannin (groin) has a strong grip on the Browns' primary tight-end duties.
-
Mason Taylor NYJ TE
Jets' Mason Taylor: Coach anticipates Year 2 leap
17d agoJets head coach Aaron Glenn named Taylor (neck) when asked Monday which players he anticipates taking a step forward in 2026, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Taylor missed the final four games of last season due to a neck injury, but there have been no indications that he will be hampered in OTAs. Across 13 regular-season appearances during his rookie campaign, Taylor secured 44 of 65 targets for 369 yards and one touchdown, solid totals considering the struggles of New York's aerial attack, which averaged a league-worst 140.3 passing yards per game. The arrival of Geno Smith should provide stability on that front, and Taylor is currently positioned as one of the new QB's top targets along with Breece Hall (knee), Garrett Wilson (knee) and Adonai Mitchell.
-
Joshua Karty ARI K
Cardinals' Joshua Karty: Re-ups with Cardinals
9d agoKarty signed his one-year ERFA tender offer with Arizona on Tuesday.
Karty will return to the Cardinals after the team poached him off the Rams' practice squad prior to Week 17 of last season. He suited up for eight regular-season games with Los Angeles in 2025 but struggled in that span, converting just 10 of 15 field-goal tries and 23 of 26 PATs. He'll provide Arizona with depth behind Chad Ryland at the kicker position this offseason.
-
Andre Szmyt CLE K
Browns' Andre Szmyt: Coming back to Cleveland
10d agoSzmyt signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Browns on Monday.
Szmyt had a successful first NFL campaign last season, converting 24 of 27 field-goal attempts (including 5-for-6 from 50-plus yards) and 25 of 26 extra-point tries. He didn't miss a field goal following the Browns' Week 9 bye, going 14-for-14 over the team's final nine games. Szmyt will head into training camp as Cleveland's clear primary kicker.

Graham Gano NYG K
Graham Gano: Cut with failed physical
17d agoThe Giants released Gano (neck) with a failed physical designation Monday, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Gano ended last season on IR due to a neck injury, and the issue appears to still be a concern. With his release. Gano's time with the Giants will come to an end after six seasons. He's been hampered by injuries over the past three campaigns, playing in only 23 of a possible 51 regular-season games during that span. Gano is approaching his 39th birthday, and it's unclear what his next step will be.
-
Graham Gano NYG K
Graham Gano: Set to depart New York
18d agoGano (neck) is set to be released by the Giants, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
Gano will hit the open market after spending the last six seasons with the Giants. The kicker was limited to just six contests in 2025 as he battled groin and neck injuries, the latter of which required him to be placed on season-ending injured reserve in November. The transaction will save New York $4.5 million in cap space, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, and the team already signed Jason Sanders to a one-year deal March 10, likely making him the team's starting kicker in 2026. Gano now will look to prove his health and latch on with a new squad this offseason.

Jake Bates DET K
Lions' Jake Bates: Officially re-signs with Lions
22d agoDetroit re-signed Bates on Wednesday.
Bates has either inked an new contract with the Lions or officially signed the exclusive rights free-agent tender extended to him by the team in early March. In any case, he's positioned to stick with Detroit for the 2026 campaign. Through two seasons in the NFL, Bates has converted 53 of 63 field-goal attempts (84.1 percent) and 118 of 123 extra-point tries (95.9 percent).
-
Jake Elliott PHI K
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Reworks deal with Philadelphia
29d agoElliott agreed Thursday to rework his contract with the Eagles, accepting a $1 million pay cut while receiving $5 million guaranteed for 2026, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The Eagles will save $243,000 in cap space with the maneuver, while the guaranteed money virtually assures that Elliott will remain the team's kicker in 2026 following a rough 2025 campaign. After converting 20 of 27 field-goal attempts for a career-worst 74.1 percent rate during the Eagles' 17 regular-season games, Elliott then had a costly missed extra point in Philadelphia's narrow loss to San Francisco in the wild-card round. The 31-year-old still remains under contract through 2028, but the Eagles would likely have more flexibility to move on from him next offseason if he's unable to bounce back in 2026.

Colts' Nasir Adderley: Resurfaces with Colts
3d agoIndianapolis signed Adderley to a contract Tuesday.
Adderley stepped away from the NFL in 2023 after playing four seasons with the Chargers, but three years later the safety will now return to the league and compete for a role in the Colts' secondary. The 28-year-old posted 232 tackles and 12 passes defensed, including three interceptions, in his four seasons with Los Angeles.

Cowboys' Markquese Bell: Arrested for drug charges
6d agoBell (concussion) was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana Friday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Bell could be facing disciplinary charges from the NFL under the league's personal conduct policy, though more details of the arrest have yet to be released. He is entering the second season of a three-year, $12 million contract that he signed with Dallas in March of 2025. Bell appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Cowboys in 2025, splitting his time evenly between defense and special teams. He finished with 41 tackles (20 solo), three pass defenses (one interception) and one forced fumble.
