Canadiens' Brandon Gignac: Heading to AHL

The Canadiens loaned Gignac to AHL Laval on Monday.

Gignac was called up by Montreal ahead of the team's preseason finale against the Senators on Saturday, but he'll head back to the minors ahead of the regular season. The 26-year-old will likely spend most of the season in the AHL.
