Canadiens' Logan Sawyer: Scores twice Friday

Sawyer scored two goals in Providence College's 4-1 win over the University of Connecticut on Friday.

This was Sawyer's first multi-goal game of the season. He's at three tallies and eight points through eight contests for the Friars this year. It's unclear if he'll sustain a point-per-game pace, but he's doing much better than he did when he had 16 points in 37 appearances as a freshman in 2024-25.
