Devils' Tuomo Ruutu: Suffers lower-body injury

Ruutu (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Ruutu has been heavy hit by the injury bug this season, missing 32 contest thus far. In nine outings, the 32-year-old has been a non-factor, recording zero points and one shot on goal per game.
