Gregory Campbell: Clears waivers, becomes free agent

Campbell has passed through waivers with his contract officially terminated by the Blue Jackets, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Campbell refused to accept an assignment to the AHL and has finally been granted release after a long standoff. He's now free to sign with other clubs, should he receive interest.
