Islanders' Eric Boulton: Clears waivers

Boulton (lower body) cleared waivers Sunday and will report to AHL Bridgeport, Brian Compton of NHL.com reports.

As expected, the veteran cleared waivers, and will serve in a mentorship role for the up-and-coming prospects in the Islanders' system.
